Recipes from the Farm Back to Recipes page Edamame Originally posted 7/31/2003 Ingredients: 1 lb. green soybeans (whole, in pods) 5 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon salt 6 cups water Directions: Put green soybeans into bowl, add 2 tablespoon of salt and stir. Wash green soybeans with running water. Boil 6 cups of water, add washed green soybeans and 3 tablespoons of salt. Boil 10 minutes, and check one of green soybeans to see if its soft. If it's soft, stop heat and drain. Sprinkle with salt and serve. (Don't eat the hulls :-) |
