News from the Farm :
CSA Spots still Available!
Posted 2/11/2009
We still have just a few spots open for new members at two of our dropsites, the north Raleigh site on Newton Rd (just off of Six Forks) that meets on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 6:00 PM and the farm pick-up here in Willow Springs that meets on Saturday mornings from 10:00 AM to noon. After that we will be open to the general public (non-members) from noon to 5:00 PM on Saturdays starting May 2nd.
If you would like to join the CSA, which gets first priority and a broader selection of veggies, please email us from the "contact us" page and request the 2009 membership form. Membership is on a first come /first serve basis and you are not a member until you return the completed form along with a deposit check. Membership for the full year is $525 and includes 26 weeks of harvests. You can also come to the farm and use your credit on pic-yer-own organic strawberries during May! There is a workingshare membership available for $453 that also covers 26 weeks. The discount is in exchange for 12 hours of work on the farm.
If you are interested please request the membership form for more detailed information.
Please remember that we will also be selling at the Moore Square Farmers Market in Downtown Raleigh starting May 6th. Market hours are Wednesdays from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and the market will run through the end of August.

Thanks!

Farmer Fred
