Farmstand Closed for September

As the summer draws to a close so does our farmstand here on Saturday afternoons. We will reopen for the fall season on October 4th. Our CSA members pick up 10:00 AM to noon and sales to the general public will run from noon to 3:00 PM. We're looking forward to a great fall season and will be open each Saturday through November 8th! If you have visited the farmstand sometime this year, starting with strawberry picking way back in April, we appreciate your patronage and hope to see you out again this fall!

One other note, we are one of 19 sustainable farms on the Carolina Farm Stewardship's Eastern Triangle Farm Tour, Saturday Sept. 20th and Sunday the 21st. Tour times are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There is a event kick-off on Thursday the 18th at Whole Foods Market in Raleigh on Wade Ave, where you can get more info and buy tickets to visit one or all the farms. My favorite band, Big Head Dog will even be peforming there from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. More information can be found at www.carolinafarmstewards.org.
